St Mary's Episcopal Church

The appointed lessons and psalms are read by Lay Readers. The Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs) administer the elements at the Holy Eucharist. Directly following the service, LEMs may take the Sacrament to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, are unable to be present at worship service. A LEM is a Christ-bearer used by God to provide a connection with the church community.
